How difficult is to create high trafficked website and Google Analytics pain points we discuss in “Asynchronous interview”.

What is your predictions for upcoming digital analytics tools?

Most would use machine learning and produce insight in plain English.

From your practice, how do you overcome Google Analytics data sampling?

Following are few methods to fix/avoid data sampling in case GA is badly sampling the data:

#1 Avoid applying advanced segments and/or secondary dimensions to your standard reports when you are analyzing metrics esp. ecommerce metrics like ‘e-commerce conversion rate’. Download the report into excel and then do all the advanced segmentation and calculations there.

#2 Run reports for shorter time frame.

#3 Avoid using filtered views or custom reports.

#4 Switch to enterprise level analytics platform like GA premium.

You can’t rely on free versions of the analytics tools for large amount of data processing and high accuracy. The data sampling limit of GA premium is approx. 200 times than that of standard GA which means you get more unsampled data in GA premium than in GA standard.

#5 Use Query Partitioning. Tools like ‘Analytics canvas’ can help you in reducing/eliminating data sampling programatically by using query partitioning. In query partitioning, a user’s query is broken into multiple queries in such a way that each individual query does not trigger data sampling.

Do you expect AI to re- shape PPC, SEO channels?

It will not replace the channels or demand but will greatly reduce the human input. In other words people may not be required at all for manual optimization. I can foresee marketing professionals being replaced by subscription based optimization tools that are powered by machine learning. This could happen within a decade esp. in the developed world.

Many of my readers asked me how build high-traffic website. What is your receipt of success?
I explained it in great detail in this article: https://www.optimizesmart.com/how-i-reached-165k-monthly-visitors-by-following-these-9-rules/

TLDR – You should be ready to sacrifice weekends and become a content generating machine.
